Godspeed (Sweet Dreams)
By the Dixie Chicks

Dragon tales and the "water is wide"
Pirate's sail and lost boys fly
Fish bite moonbeams every night
And I love you

Godspeed, little man
Sweet dreams, little man
Oh my love will fly to you each night on angels wings
Godspeed
Sweet dreams

The rocket racer's all tuckered out
Superman's in pajamas on the couch
Goodnight moon, will find the mouse
And I love you

Godspeed, little man
Sweet dreams, little man
Oh my love will fly to you each night on angels wings
Godspeed
Sweet dreams

God bless mommy and match box cars
God bless dad and thanks for the stars
God hears "Amen," wherever we are
And I love you

Godspeed, little man
Sweet dreams, little man
Oh my love will fly to you each night on angels wings
Godspeed
Godspeed
Godspeed
Sweet dreams

Jordan, Our beautiful baby boy,
A tiny, perfect, bundle of joy
The seventeenth of May you were born,
From then until eternity we will mourn
You had Daddy's big feet and Mummy's cute face.
Sweet little hands and brown hair a trace
The time we had with you was so very short,
But when you came, peace and serenity you brought
We kissed you, cuddled you and held you tight,
A naming and blessing, The hospital quiet
Why, oh why did this happen to you,
The doctors unsure, they haven’t a clue
Your soul is in our hearts forever more,
You will never be forgotten, that is for sure
Saying goodbye, our hearts aching, we can’t stop crying
With all the other angels, you will play,
we will see you again one day, not today
All our love always Mummy and Daddy x x x x x

Jordan Graeme Kai Dobbin

Our son’s stuggle over
The toughest little man
With spirit and heart

Resting now in God’s heaven
Without pain
no need to fight
Perfect in every way
You have your sight

Given back his wings
Our son an angel
Little man take flight
Jordy our angel
Little man Take flight

This song, "Calling all Angels" by Jane Siberry, was played at our Angel Jordan's funeral.

"Calling All Angels"

Santa Maria, Santa Teresa, Santa Anna, Santa Susannah
Santa Cecilia, Santa Copelia, Santa Domenica, Mary Angelica
Frater Achad, Frater Pietro, Julianus, Petronilla
Santa, Santos, Miroslaw, Vladimir and all the rest
a man is placed upon the steps, a baby cries
and high above the church bells start to ring
and as the heaviness, the body, oh the heaviness settles in
somewhere you can hear a mother sing
then it's one foot then the other as you step out onto the road
how much weight? how much weight?
then it's how long? and how far?
and how many times before it's too late?
calling all angels
calling all angels
walk me through this one
don't leave me alone
calling all angels
calling all angels
we're cryin' and we're hurtin' and we're not sure why...
and every day you gaze upon the sunset
with such love and intensity
it's almost...it's almost as if
if you could only crack the code
then you'd finally understand what this all means
but if you could...do you think you would
trade in all the pain and suffering?
ah, but then you'd miss
the beauty of the light upon this earth
and the sweetness of the leaving
calling all angels
calling all angels
walk me through this one
don't leave me alone
callin' all angels
callin' all angels
we're tryin'
we're hopin'
we're hurtin'
we're lovin'
we're cryin'
we're callin'
“cause we're not sure how this goes”

Jordan's Daddy made this slide show and it is beautiful...

3 Generations of Men - Pa, Daddy & Jordan "Daddys First Hold"

"For Jordy love Daddy"

To mummy and daddy, I know I couldn't see
I felt your tender touch, and knew you could see me

My hands are only tiny, My feet are only small
I hope you know that while I was here, I gave it my all

My tummy grew so big, mummy, but don't be so sad
It grew because of all the love, That I had surrounding me

It's nice up in heaven, I'm in the angel's tree
It's ok, mummy and daddy, all the angels can see

By Darren, Jordan's proud Daddy

Dearest Mummy,

When you wonder the meaning of life and love
Know that I am with you
Close your eyes and feel me kissing you
in the gentle breeze across your cheek

When you begin to doubt that you shall ever see me again
Quiet your mind and hear me
I am in the whisper of the heavens
Speaking of your love

When you lose your identity
When you question who you are
where you are going
Open your heart and see me
I am the twinkle in the stars smiling down upon you
Lighting the path for your journey

When you awaken each morning
Not remembering your dreams
But feeling content and serene
Know that I was with you
Filling your night with thoughts of me

When you linger in the remnant pain
Wholeness seeming so unfamiliar
Think of me
Know that I am with you
Touching you thru the shared tears of a gentle friend
Easing the pain

As the sunrise illuminates the desert sky
In that breathtaking brilliance, awaken your spirit
Think of our time together, all too brief, but ever brilliant
When you were certain of us, together
When you were certain of your destiny

Know that God created that moment in time,
Just for us
I am with you always.
Loving you always,
Your child, your Angel Jordan

This is Jordan in his first outfit, sadly he had no eyes along with other problems.

To Mummy From Heaven:

Mummy, don't cry 'cause God is holding my hand
And telling me everything is OK.

Mummy, God said that I will never want for anything
And I will still feel your love all the way up here.

Mummy, You should see me I'm running and playing
with God's other children.

Mummy, Guess who helps watch over us while we play?
They are God's Helping Angels.

Mummy, I'm not afraid, my grandpa is here.
He came to me when it was dark and held my hands
then we went to God's bright light where Angels are singing.

Mummy, God said if you feel sad to remember this ~
I'll be the gentle breeze that brushes your face
the sun is my smile and the rain is me
washing away your pain.

Mummy, I have to go now I send you all my Love
on the Wings of an Angel.
Love from your Son, to you Mummy

This photo of Jordan was 2 days before he went to Heaven; his tummy was badly enlarged.

I took some photos today of Jordan's Garden. I also planted some plants today too, so the garden is still new in some parts.

Angel Jordan's family wanted to add the following link to Ronald McDonald House
because they took care of them,
and they lived there for his short few weeks of life, so they wanted to put that on this site as sort of a thank-you.
